Thanks for your answer @anbiswas! This is probably the same issue as reported in this thread: 5.0.2 UI is all tofu squares on Windows Server 2016. Sadly, it seems that the new version of the Qt framework which is used by Gpg4win 5 doesn’t support Windows Server 2016
