Installing (updating) to GPG4WIN 4.3.1., GPGOL does no longer show up in Outlook 2019.
Outlook was closed during installation.
I am runnung Windows 10 with most recent updates.
GPGOL is not even shown within COM-Add-ins.
Trying to add the addin (gpgol.dll) does not work, neither from “bin” nor from “bin_64”. Outlook states: “… ist kein gültiges Office Add-In”
Hi @JoeDoe, I guess that you switched to the new Outlook (or Microsoft did this for you). An article from heise explains how to switch back. See also another thread about the support of the GpgOL add-in in the new Outlook.
Hi @cklassen thank you for your answer. I am still using the “old” outlook (not 365) “outlook.exe” with pst data locally on my PC.
It doesn’t matter if it’s Outlook 365 or 2019 (thread in Microsoft forum). But when you’re sure that you’re not using the new Outlook there are some aspects in the wiki you could check: https://wiki.gnupg.org/TroubleShooting#GpgOL_won.27t_load_in_Outlook.
