Unable to read Omnikey 6121 + OpenPGP v2 SC + Win11

I’ve been a long time GnuPG user on Linux and specifically using my Omnikey 6121 with OpenPGP v2.0 for my SIM-sized smartcard.

I’m trying to use the same reader/SC combo on Windows 11 and not having any success even though the debug logs are reading the card, it’s not showing up in Kleopatra. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Techniq808,

the log has:

My ideas:

  • you can compare this run with a similar debug run on your GNU/Linux system, where it is working. Maybe the difference helps to narrow down where the problem is.
  • approach gnupg-users with the problem, there are more people that could potentially help you. (pay attention to delete personal information from the debug log)
  • give the version numbers of the uses components and operating system
  • assuming your Gpg4win version on windows is newer than the one on your GNU/Linux system, see if you have a change to use the same version on GNU/Linux as well for comparision.

Best Regards,

Bernhard
