the encryption is not working

i use outlook 2003, sp2, (11.8010.6568)
if i try to erncrypt a mail, i am asked for my password and the mail is send. but it is not encrypted
any ideas anyone

Hello,
have the same problem. Have a look here:

try to switch to rich-text or html. plain text does not work.
