Site certificate not valid

In Chrome and Opera I’m getting an invalid certificate for this website. From Chrome:

----8<----begin----8<----
Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from wald.intevation.org (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
----8<-----end-----8<----

I find this quite ironic since this is where gpg4win is from.

This is also not a new thing, or at least a reoccurring thing, as seen by this thread:

http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pipermail/gpg4win-devel/2013-July/001245.html

Is this the correct place to post this message? I don’t like going onto a site that has an invalid certificate, and I had to do that just to post this message. :frowning:

Thanks,

M

Hey M,

This error appears, because we have our own Certificate Authority. You can import our root-certificate from https://ssl.intevation.de/ and you will no longer recieve the “NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID”-Error.

Kind regards,
Jochen

I’ve tried that. I imported it into my root and it still gives me the error msg as attached:

Here it shows that it is imported:

Sorry if nobody told You,
after the import You have to adjust the trust level and the purpose the certificate is meant for. It is different for every browser, bit I am sure You will find it.
Good luck.
