Preferred Keyserver Settings

Is there a preferred keyserver to use with GPG4Win? Currently my Kleopatra has hkp://keys.gnupg.net in the OpenPGP keyserver under Directory Services

Under GnuPG System/Network has hkps://keyserver.ubuntu.com under Network/Configuration for OpenPGP servers

I’m also wondering if these should both be set to the same server (whatever that may be)

Hi Mark,

currently keyserver.ubuntu.com is the default for GnuPG,
but you can also try others, for example see
https://social.tchncs.de/@ber/107008659842900171

(The whole idea of public pubkey servers is that there are several ones and not just one.)
