Install Kleopatra to read old pubring

Hi
I have gnupg program (2.4.7) install and have create and receive keys to store in the pubring. Instead of using the list key from the command line I will use Kleopetra to list the keys.
Then when I install Kleopatra (4.4.0) it create its a new pubring somewhere in Windows profiles. How can I set up Kleopatra to use my old pubring?
Or is there a way to config Kleopatra with cfg file or variables?
Regards

Hi @Goran,

as Kleopatra uses GnuPG as its backend, it will use the same place for configurations and keys.

So when upgrading there is no problem. The question is: How did you install the “previous” version of GnuPG? If it wasn’t Gpg4win, some other distributions exists that maybe have reconfigured the location of the configuration directory.

Bernhard

Hi thanks for input.
I have install only the GnuPG program and use the --homedir to specify the map to the pubring.
Now I have got the information to use the system variable, GNUPGHOME to set the value for the pubring. Now can Kleopatra use the same as the install GnuPG program.
