I installed vs 4.2 clipboard import certificate grayed out

I installed and uninstalled vs 4.2 and clipboard import certificate is grayed out.
Tried install vs 4.0 and get same result. Any help would be appreciated

Hi @Private38,
did you have a certificate (or in other words, an exported public key in armored format) in the clipboard?

You can test this by trying to paste it into the notes area.

If you still have problems with importing a certificate via the clipboard, you can you “file → import” to import it instead. Just select the file. Or use an editor to paste and save the certificate into a file and then select it.
