GpgOL automatically enable/disable encryption based on recipient

Hi i want to ask if it is possible for GpgOL (in configuration file or somewhere) to automatically enable encryption when i want to write new email and automatically disable encryption when it recognizes unknown recipient (no public keys in kleopatra). Thanks in advance!

Hi @rk999, as far as I know this is not possible but you could request this as a feature at https://dev.gnupg.org/.

Hi, this is the option “Automatically secure messages” which will always encrypt if certified keys are found for all recipients. If for one recipient no key can be found encryption is disabled just like you wish. This is enabed by default.

There is also the suboption “Also with untrusted keys” that will use any matching key found in kleopatra. This is disabled by default.
