GPG4WIN right click

hi,
I have a problem. When I select couple of files and I click right mouse button to decrypt it, gpg decrypt only one file which was clicked. I need to decrypt multiple txt files which different names in one folder.

Thank you very much

Older versions did not allow multiple files, what version are you using?

hi, the new one Gpg4win 2.2.1, in earlier version of GPG (I dont remember number) in XP was working fine but now in W7 x86 it doesnt work :frowning:

Not sure if I can help you too much further because we do not use 2.2.1 because they also took the function of encrypting multiple files through command line using wildcards for extensions…like encrypting all files that are *.txt.

So we are using 2.1.0 (because it works without issue, somewhat)

Can you downgrade and see if it works? At least that would tell you it is a version that is the problem and not an operating system type issue.

We are also on w7 x86

I use W7 (64bit) with Gpg4win 2.2.1 and multiple file operations work ok. This is not something that I carry out very often but I just verified it is ok by right-clicking and selecting ‘sign and encrypt’ for 3 text files at one go.

I then used right click in windows file manager to ‘decrypt and verify’ the three files in a single operation.

It worked fine.

Although I am using 64 bit W7, Gnupg installs itself in ‘Program Files (x86)’ which is where all the 32 bit stuff goes.

hmm I have the same problem on couple of PC`s. In one is W7 x86 and other is W7 x64. Which components of GPG you install? I have W7 Pro and Ultimate.

I am running Win7x64 with Gpg4win 2.2.1 and I can right click in Windows Explorer to decrypt multiple selected files.

My Addin to my Outlook 2010 got disabled at some point on Outlook startup in the past and will not enable but otherwise no complaints.

My W7 is Family Premium edition (64bits). I don’t remember making any special selections when I installed Gpg4win - that was some time ago. Then I just updated to 2.2.0 and later to 2.2.1.

The start button shows I have Claws Mail (which I never used), GPA and Kleopatra. I use both gui’s but usually Kleopatra.

ha! I`m so stupid  I didnt install Kleopatra, only one GPA and Shell extensions.

OK now its gooooooood

thank you for your time and help.
