When I use gpg.exe and i generate a new key, it tells me:
cannot rename pubring.kbx to pubring.kb_ invalid argument.
the user profile under windows has the rights for pubring.kbx so I don’t understand.

Maybe you could try the same command with the option “-v”. Then you probably will get more information that can help to find the cause.
