Hi All, I posted this in a reply on another thread but need to elaborate in my own thread.
I want to use Thunderbird with enigmail on my Win 7 PC. I downloaded GPG4Win and cannot figure out the root certificate process.
I exported a Comodo certificate in .der format from Thunderbird. I tried to identify the SHA1 fingerprint and entered it into the txt file in the following format -
HEXADECIMALFINGERPRINT S
I then tried to save this file (cannot save as the file is in use or the directory is protected, so dragged txt file to desktop, edited, saved, dragged back)
Completed installer, restarted.
No certificate was found when I loaded the Kleopatra app.
I repeated this process with the PKI cert in .der format from CAcert.org (http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3)
Same result.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?
