Change the directory where keys are stored ?

Hello,

GPG4win stores the keys in directory c:\documents and settings<username>\application data\GnuPG.

How can I change this default directory, say to D:\GnuPG ?
(Why ? just because I make regular backups of D: and don’t want to have to mess up with that “documents and settings” stuff)

The information found on http://wald.intevation.org/forum/forum.php?thread_id=729&forum_id=20&group_id=11 seems to be outdated, there’s no [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\gnupg] key in my registry.

Thank you,

JP

Anyway, have you already tried to create the registry key by yourself?

Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\GnuPG
Name: HomeDir
Type: REG_SZ
Data: “D:\GnuPG”

This works for me.

It works great.

Thanks a lot !
