Can’t seem to get the IDEA cipher loaded on G

Can’t seem to get the IDEA cipher loaded. I’ve downloaded the version of idea.dll for GNUPG 1.2 and later and installed it in the lib folder. Added the following line in gpg.conf
Load-extension lib\idea.dll. Running gpg, it doesn’t show that IDEA has been loaded. Would appreciate any suggestions or help to get this going.

C:\Program Files\GNU\GnuPG>gpg.exe --version
gpg (GnuPG) 2.0.12 (Gpg4win 2.0.0)
libgcrypt 1.4.4

Do you have any specific use for IDEA that can’t be done with the other cipher algorithms? “IDEA is an optional algorithm in the OpenPGP standard.” ["]

Maybe you’re better off with the other algorithms. You don’t trust AES 256?
