When I go to the page
http://www.gpg4win.org/
then at the top left of the page all included tools of gpg4win are listed.
What, if I don’t want to use all the tools but only some of them?
I don’t want to install e.g.
GnuPG v1.4.9
GPA 0.8.0
GPGol 0.9.92
GPGee 1.3.1
Claws Mail 3.0.0-rc2
I only want to use:
GnuPG2 v2.0.10
WinPT 1.2.0
Is this possible?
Is it furthermore possible to replace some parts after installation (e.g. replace manually WinPT v1.2 by WinPT v1.4.0) ?
Thank you
Peter
You should be able to pick and choose what you want installed when you run the installer. For example you need to install GnuPG but not anything else AFAIK. I only have GnuPG and WinPT installed on my Vista laptop.
You can, AFAIK, simply install WinPT 1.4.1 over 1.2.
You also might be interested in using GPGshell as an alternative to WinPT.

Well I tried to use WinPT 1.4.1 but it complained about the version of GnuPG that was installed. Further reading the mailing list archive suggests problems.

Maybe that’s why I use GPGshell as my front end of choice with gpg4win. I don’t really remember why I switched now…
