Hello,
here’s something I just found to further improve in future :
- after Two-Factor Backup Codes have been generated (and before doing that it’s unluckily unclear that user needs to exit own profile after enabling an Authenticator, otherwise generation of Two-Factor Backup Codes won’t be allowed) the resulting downloadable text file is unluckily only formatted for Unix/Linux (so with FF line endings) but not Windows (whose line endings will need to be CR+LF);
- as of now after successfully enabling an Authenticator in own profile → preferences → security, a user should be properly advised with a new message (similar to the one already displayed and related to social logins becoming disabled if enabling at least an Authenticator) that before really being able to also generate Two-Factor Backup Codes he/she will need to exit own user profile. For now only after re-entering own user profile a user will be really able to also generate Two-Factor Backup Codes.
Many thanks in advance for your attention & comprehension.
Best Regards
Rob
