Can I just install the GPG4win Light if all I need is command line encryption?

I found the answer myself. No you don’t need Kleopatra for just command line encryption. GPG4Win Light will work. It still puts a Kleopatra icon on the desktop but it does not work and does not load into the system tray. This website is also very helpful in building your command lines for encryption:
