Differences in key format?

I am using gpg4win, in particular Windows Privacy Tray v1.2.0 (Sep 17 2007).

I had created a key and used the Key Manager to upload my public key to both subkeys.pgp.net and keyserver.pgp.com. Now here is the strange thing.

When I use the key manager to export my public key to a file (or gpa for that matter), the header of my public key is the following:

-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (MingW32)

But when I go and manually download my key from pgp.com, the header is now the following:

-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: PGP Universal 2.6.0

and also the key itself is longer. The first 3/4 is the same, but there is an additional 2/3 that is new text.

I’m pretty confused as to what is happening here.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to understand what is happening here?
